Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival you are met by our guide and transferred to the hotel for an overnight at EKA HOTEL (bed & breakfast).

Day 2: Nairobi / Tsavo

East After breakfast you are picked by the driver/guide for the drive to Kenya’s largest Park – Tsavo National Park, separated by the highway to create Tsavo East & West National Parks. Today you drive onwards to Tsavo East National Park; the larger of the two and home to the world’s longest lave flow – The Yatta Plateau. Transfer to the camp with a game drive en route, check-in followed by lunch and spend the early afternoon relaxed by the pool. Depart at 16H00 for an evening game viewing drive until sunset. Return for dinner and overnight at ASHNIL ARUBA CAMP (full board).

Day 3: Tsavo East

Spend the day on a full day game drive in the Park which is home most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust-red elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu gerenuk, hirola amongst others. This is also an ornithologists paradise with over 500 recorded species, you are likely to spot ringed migrating birds. Attractions include; Mudanda rock – whale-backed rock towers above a natural dam which draws thousands of elephants, Aruba dam – animals quench their thirst here hence one of the best sites to view game, Lugards falls - the falls feature bizarrely eroded rocks through which the waters of the Galana River plunge into foaming rapids and crocodile –infested pools and the Yatta Plateau. All meals and overnight at ASHNIL ARUBA CAMP (full board).

Day 4: Tsavo East / Tsavo West

Breakfast served at the camp and check-out, depart with a game viewing drive en route to Tsavo West National Park, especially made famous by the man-eaters of Tsavo during the construction of the railway to Uganda. Check-in upon arrival followed by lunch and depart later for an evening game viewing drive. Game includes: elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Return for dinner and overnight at KILAGUNI SERENA LODGE (full board).

Day 5: Tsavo West

Depart after breakfast for a game viewing drive which includes a visit to Mzima Springs whose source is the Chyulu Hills. There is an underwater glass tank where visitors can view the hippos and crocodile. Transfer back to the Lodge for lunch and depart later for an evening game viewing drive including a visit to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at KILAGUNI SERENA LODGE (full board).

Day 6: Tsavo West / Nairobi / Depart

After breakfast and check-out depart with a game viewing drive en route to Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch on own account and later transferred to JKIA for your onward flight.
